At what point will people say ‘enough is enough’ …

Is that like your thing? Dirty socialists… I think the beards would be a big turn off for me tbh…

😜
I'm the dirtiest of all the socialists mate, but I took the beard off the other day. I'm regretting doing that now because it' has got really cold again. It does make me look twenty years younger though. I'm a really handsome, left wing, bum-faced chap.

Probably about the same time as you Fabio. What should the people do?

Well I write to my MP to question them and try to hold them to account, I complain to Ofcom and channels directly when they push out misinformation, I try to raise awareness by sharing information and stories which haven’t been picked up, I have been on strike, I sign and share petitions, I ask journalists (on social media) why they or their channel/publication are not covering a news item and I support those highlighting injustice. It’s all tiny tiny stuff, quiet peaceful activism and relatively passive, but it is the only thing I can do really, until election time.
All that on its own is insignificant. If all people who were fed up with the situation did the same however, pressure would mount and awareness would rise to a point where it could become great enough to cause change, possibly even lead to greater accountability, and people like me couldn’t just be fobbed off or ignored by their local MP.

But yes, I take your point, there isn’t a great deal we can do until election time. (apart from the above, which we can all do)

Please show me any politician you can trust and has the general public at heart ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, that's right , they don't exist , and if if you think they do your in for a shock!!

I write to nadine dorries a lot, never had ameaningful reply. Ultimately, as brits we just don't do protests. I guess the upcoming "general strike" is a form of protest and raises awareness. The tories are done, but until we get to elections time, we can't do much other than learn, one would hope.

That misguided belief is part of the problem, and it’s one that has even been cleverly cultivated specifically to diminish the impact of the wrongdoing of the very worst of them. It’s designed to feed apathy.
The more people think ‘they are all the same’, the easier it is for the real bad ones to get away with it!
They are not all the same.
Like everything, there are good and bad people doing the job, with different motivations, different principles and different feelings of responsibility to their constituents.
