Of course they are legit, to get a 0 it must be disgusting.Never been, but when im at the shops its usually very busy there. I often wonder how places recover, as customers (not all) will see these 0's and go elsewhere, get into a routine of using a different take away and thats that.
Also, i sometimes wonder if those giving the ratings are legit. Are they visited by more than 1 person, is there a 2nd opinion or something the shop can ask for before these ratings go public to avoid any possible dark arts or dodgy goings on
I think the gazette are a bit too eager to post these hygiene ratings articles these days as they get a lot of clicks and comments on social media.
By legit i mean, is there a possibility the inspectors sisters boyfriend runs the chinese down the road? Has the inspector had a run in with the owners before so there is bad blood there? Do these inspections happen by 1 person, or a team?Of course they are legit, to get a 0 it must be disgusting.

Obviously to give zero it must have issues 100% because the inspector has to prove certain findings, but i sometimes think if another inspection took place would the same outcome be found.
The place could be absolutely rotten, and given a zero it probably is, but ive always wondered about the legitimacy about these ratings and the politics that goes on.Blimey that's clutching at straws. I'm sure it's all to do with the inspectors sisters boyfriend, yep that'll be it.

Anything that is inspected by 1 person, yes.Why ? Do you also wonder about say OFSTED inspections ? There's a very clear set of criteria that places will need to meet, why do you think it's riddled with subterfuge with all the legal implications that would have ?

It's okay Mr Cheng, just close for a couple of days, do a deep clean and sort out colour coded chopping boards etc. I'm sure you'll be reet.Anything that is inspected by 1 person, yes.
Bad example, there are loads of examples of politically convenient Ofsted outcomes. There's loads of examples of politically convenient timing of inspections too.Why ? I intentionally didn’t mention this specific case and said the worst offenders should be shamed.Which is exactly why they do it, it's their business model. Besides they got 0, not a 3 for filling in some documents incorrectly, but 0.
Why ?
Why do you think someone would risk their professional reputation, with the associated risks, and how far do you believe it extends ?
That is the problem, they should never be 0 anyway. They shouldn't be allowed to bounce back as to get 0, they must have always had a lack of hygieneSeveral town centre restaurants have bounced back from 0 to 5 Hygiene ratings - so it can be done and quickly.
OFSTED inspections are a joke! Why ? Do you also wonder about say OFSTED inspections ? There's a very clear set of criteria that places will need to meet, why do you think it's riddled with subterfuge with all the legal implications that would have ?
