Why? I disagreed with the OP but still, it wasn't exactly hate speech.
Oh right, not sure I saw that.I think there was one particular comment that went too far. Don’t think the whole thread needed pulling though
Your rules I guess, but I didn't think it was that bad personally. There many comments that went too far and really angered me.
I do not want to be associated with them. Shameful
I think he said it was cancerthink it was the post which said charity shops were ruining the high street but in a offensive descriptive way
I thought the counter-arguments were sufficiently cogent to demonstrate how untenable the original poster's position was. Better we see these and argue against them, than drive them elsewhere. This is a form of thought prohibition that I personally do not like. In short: give them enough rope. There many comments that went too far and really angered me.
I do not want to be associated with them. Shameful
What about people being racist or bullying others? It made me feel totally sick to think that in some way I was helping give a platform to people prepared to be offensive about charity shops and charity workers.
Who is getting bullied? I'll sort it out. What about people being racist or bullying others?
Andy Preston gets a platform tho..It made me feel totally sick to think that in some way I was helping give a platform to people prepared to be offensive about charity shops and charity workers.
Does he?Andy Preston gets a platform tho..
Was I being offensive to Charity workers?, I acknowledge my use of words was rubbish so pulled it but if I was offensive to SOME shops then in reality I was being offensive to the organisation' which I shouldn't have been offensive but more clear about my gripes, but I have done work in Charity shops ( voluntary and It was voluntary I wasn't sent by the job centre) and my experience in one of them left me feeling less than happy. It made me feel totally sick to think that in some way I was helping give a platform to people prepared to be offensive about charity shops and charity workers.
