Norwich Fans Unrest

I always remember after the Play Off Final, most 'Boro fans left at FT, as we obviously didn't want to stay to watch Norwich celebrate winning, and when coming out of Wembley, there were just as many Norwich fans leaving as 'Boro fans.

Couldn't believe the amount of yellow & green shirts I saw coming out at FT.

Just won the play offs to the Premier League and they're heading for the exit instead of celebrating. Quite crazy!
My brother and I were sat having a scotch egg and a pint in one of the bars after the game. We were watching Norwich fans leaving and I remember commenting on how subdued they all looked.

They are a bit odd. Remember the play-off final. On the way into Wembley they were noticeably quieter and less up for it than Boro fans and after the game there were loads of them leaving the same time as us, whereas the vast majority of Boro fans, if we'd won, I'm sure would've still been in the ground celebrating and watching the presentation.
Never seen such a miserable bunch as you after they won there was just no reaction most still looked as miserable as they did before kick off.

Compare their reaction to ours after the brighton game I think I was drunk for a week.

It looks like I was right about his days being numbered. Another so called good manager that couldn't hack it with limited resources.
he did excellent at Walsall with limited resources.

he did even better at Brentford with limited resources.

villa didnt improve under steven gerrard after Dean Smith was sacked

norwich are 5th - harsh sacking in my book, but not unexpected - skyworld football fans behave like a weather-vane, they go with the direction of the wind.

I forgot he was at Walsall and must admit he did a good job.

Regarding Brentford, he was allowed to sign 18 players and had them playing well but couldn't get them across the finish line with them finishing in 10th place. The following season he signed another eight players and finished 9th. That's not success in my eyes and doesn't sound like he's doing it on a shoestring.

Wilder might be thinking of buying a nice cottage near Burham Deepdale or Gunton.
You know - a break from the big City and a place to put his feet up.
Just imagine - he wont be short of Turkey`s at Christmas and Bernard Matthews will have a few sausages for him.
Might be "just the right fit" ?
He could buy a few chickens and farm some of them there organic vegetables like🥕

Don't the club and scouting department buy and sell the players at Brentford to keep them ticking over and the manager/head coach just looks after coaching and picking the team?

I believe that Brentford implemented their analytical approach to running the club well before Warburton got them in the championship. So DS would have benefited from this during his time. I'm sure out regular Bees fan (Brentfordbee?) could confirm this,

Im not convinced by DS at all and fully expect an upturn in form now he's been sacked as there is no way that group of players we playing for him. He'd lost them for whatever reason weeks ago.

Norwich City's next manager: Former Sheffield United and Middlesbrough boss vying with ex-Burnley chief to get Canaries' Premier League promotion bid back on track

Norwich sacked Dean Smith on Tuesday following a poor run of form.
But they are still fifth in the Championship as they look to bounce back to the Premier League once again, and an enticing proposition.
Former Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder, who took the Blades up to the top flight, is among the favourites to succeed Smith.
Wilder has been out of work since the autumn after he was sacked by Middlesbrough after showing few signs that he was about to get them promoted.
And Sean Dyche, who took Burnley up to the Premier League twice and kept them up there for half a decade before losing his job towards the end of last season as they spiralled towards relegation, is also high up on the list.

Here are the latest odds for the next manager of Norwich, according to Oddschecker:
Chris Wilder – 5/1
Steven Gerrard – 8/1
Scott Parker – 12/1

You’re forgetting the fact they sold his best players every season so had to keep rebuilding his team. A lot of those players we’re development rather than first team as well.

I know they do now, but wasn't that implemented after Smith joined?
No, it was started when Bentham bought the club in 2012.

Pretty sure that Wilder gets made favourite for every job. Don't see it myself. It's the Head of Football model that he resisted here and I'm pretty sure that Webber (their head) will be on the phone to Kieran Scott to ask him the background; don't imagine he'll get a good reference. Plus, Norwich spend the absolute minimum each year and will come straight back down if they go up.
I think Norwich are more likely to look for the next Daniel Farke.

No way will Wilder get the Norwich job. Boro are trying to implement the Norwich, Brentford operational model. He wants to be a manager, they want a head coach.
