Will we see this new style time added on creep onto the domestic game

Could we be looking at 10 or even 15 mins being added on at the riverside once the season resumes.

Maybe next season.

It's just the prelude before the inevitable introduction of a stop-clock.

Something that would probably help the game, in my opinion.
You don't even need a stop clock really (for those purists that might upset). You just need a separate timekeeper with very clear criteria as to what they add time on for and make it completely transparent so coaches (and possibly fans where possible) can see the running total.

Ref doesn't need to be keeping time at all, let them concentrate on the game. Full time should also be the first time the ball goes out of play after 90 mins (plus time added on). Shouldn't be possible for the ref to blow up halfway through an attack.

Let’s be honest you could add 20 mins into most games in the championship and still not come close to closing the gap.

I hope not, what with me going to the bar/loo 5 minutes before half time, missing the first 5 minutes of the second half and then leaving 5 minutes before full time to beat the traffic I could end up missing 30 minutes of football.

Lets hope common sense prevails;)

The games too long when it's getting towards 2 hours not a fan. It ties in with the 5 subs and drinks break and the stupid stupid statistical analysis they are showing on TV. It's Americanising the game

I really hope so, have noticed how easy it is for teams (with the exception of Boro) to kill the game with almost 10 minutes to go, both QPR and Reading did it earlier this season, shame we couldn't at Watford, Preston and Stoke (Five more points there!)
