Play offs a real possibility

We are 4 pts of the playoffs and 4 pts off relegation, after the Marseille match and I thought we really could smash this league I'm going to keep myself quietly optimistic but not expecting too much.
 
I'd think any team playing against us will be scared. The way we're dominating games right now must have teams bricking it.

That was a statement win today. Average first half but then turned the screw the second half.
 
I can’t get my head around the fact we are only 11 points off top after having had such a terrible first few months of the season. Also, we are joint 3rd top scorers! Where the heck did that come from?!
 
I was always confident that we would get in the playoffs even after the poor start we have had. We have a really good squad and it was just a matter of time before they clicked. What I didn't reckon on was Wilders bad management, team selections, formations, and substitutions. They were puzzling at best and it was obvious that a new broom was needed. We have that new broom, we have the squad and we have the support to push us into those places.

Wsa that for getting into the play offs. Or for promotion or Champions? I don't understand betting so you might need to talk to me as if I am an idiot
 
The January window will be interesting. The emergence of Hackney has helped fill the gaping hole left by Tavenier, but i still think the midfield needs reinforcement, with cover for Howson in particular, who at 34 can’t be expected to perform at a high level week in week out without some kind of break. Cover for the left side of midfield would also make sense.

This league is mental isn’t it.

I know we should go one game at a time, but there’s gonna be three strong teams coming down from the PL next season. Bottom five atm: Wolves, Saints, Forest and their 30 new players, Everton, West Ham. Bar Saints you would expect any of them to smash the Championship.

If there was ever a good time to sneak a promotion via the playoffs, this would be it.

I’m predicting 2nd, so there you have it, only Burnley look like they have the depth of squad to stay up there.
Assuming we avoid major injuries the players are loving playing for MC and giving him everything whilst being tactically sound and full of belief in everything they are being asked to do.
We’ll have wobbles but MC has seen it in his career and knows how to manage that and a calm and steady way forward back to belief through the team

2nd for the mighty Boro

In terms of howson, I agree that we should have cover but I think we already have that in Lloungo who plays that position assuming we can get him fit….sheff we’d fans were gutted he left them
Agree on the left side needs more cover but one or two midfielders should do the trick in January….
