Traore

After a brilliant performance by Traore for us I started a thread "hang your heads in shame" on the old board Wow did I get some stick for that from the people on here who think good players are those that a put a shift in and make crunching tackles and run back and defend etc etc.
Sad thing is now we will never have a talented real footballer play for us again in my lifetime whats left, and we had one that has slipped through our fingers.

I disagree that it's racism keeping him out of the Spain squad.
He was called up last season after a relatively lacklustre year but he pulled out with an injury.

Fact of the matter is that it's only in this season that he's consistently done enough to be worthy of a full call up for Spain.

He's still only 24, so it's not like he's in the twilight of his career and has been overlooked.
He's a phenomenal talent and I expect he'll be in their next squad.

You might be right in this case but I wouldn't rule it out becasue it is the reason why many have never had an international career, Iñaki Williams being the prime example, consistently good for 3 or 4 season now yet Oyarzabal from real Sociedad, younger than both Adama and Williams is a regular, it just doesn't add up. There's players far worse who get in the squad, Santi Cazorla is still a starter ffs!

We may have stated in the tip flight had he been played on the right and the consistently poor performers were replaced in the middle of the park. One is still here.

Just watched the highlights again after watching it live yesterday. There isn’t a better footballer in the world at getting to the by line and putting in almost certain goal crosses. He’s so good when played out on the right. Parnabys I think you make a good point when it comes to Racism as Inaki is clearly one of Spain’s best forwards, would think Him and Traore should be starters at the next Euros, you would hope so anyway.

I was convinced after he came on at Arsenal after his first run the whole arsenal team sh*t a brick & you could physically see them drop back a good few meters. He scared them that much like some have sang his praises ever since. Very sad to see him leave before saw the best of him.

He was sensational at the Emirates and nearly scored a wonder goal. I was sat with Arsenal mates that day in the home end and all around there was a collective intake of breath whenever he got the ball.

How is it disrespectful to Adama to say Pulis helped him massively? Adama was on talksport this weekend and said the same thing 😂 they still speak regularly!

He’s been well coached from Pulis onwards . Think it’s the Wolves boss who has played him in different positions so he learned what those respective games were about . Pulis switched him at half time so he was always within ear shot from the dugout . Pure raw talent .

We did see the best of him but some choose to look the other way
