It is an easy enough walk back to the city centre, about 20 mins depending on your walking speed. Also plenty of buses once you are on London Road.

We are on the 8:12 from Redcar bit of a wait and change at Darlo, gets to Edinburgh 11:09. Return is 19:00 from Edinburgh

Sure you can get a direct train from Carlisle to Edinburgh of any good to you?Still no train tickets available for travel from the North West. May have to miss this one

It's an easy access away trip to a lovely city against opposition we've rarely had the opportunity to play in our history.

Train prices have rocketed too.
I bought my return at £24 a month ago.
It's double that now, and that's with a railcard.
We have played Hibs and Hearts in pre season friendlies and even mixed together in nearby clubs etc. Times change you know.
