I've just finished reading the below article about the purchase of Twitter and some of the misconceptions that have been reported around the sale.
It's a very interesting read and brings up a lot of questions, not least why we are allowing these very rich Men to dictate the path of humanity. Their justifications for using their wealth to move human society in a particular direction in the future rather than looking to solve current crisis is an eye-opener. Futurism just sounds like a planet sized version of trickle-down economics, to me. Spunk a load of dosh on something for a few people in the hope that, eventually, it'll help everyone.
