I don't know, but check your seat before sitting down at the next match....Why was it held at the riverside?
To be fair it in an independent legally qualified chair who is in charge of the hearing, completely independent of the police. I’m not sure who decides the sentence mind but as others have alluded to I’d be amazed if there isn’t some sort of appeal from somebody that sees her dismissed. How allowing her to keep her job does anything but destroy any last trust or confidence the public may have left in the force is beyond me.Good old Cleveland police
I agree with this completely. Many many people have been sacked for much less. They have kind of made a rod for their own back now with dishonesty caseToo many making light of this case when truthfully she should have been sacked.
This woman, with very low moral standards, was representing Cleveland Police and the Middlesbrough area.
Strange things happen when one participates in the ritual of the falling down water thoughShe needs to be sent on a toilet awareness course for a start.
(Don't know how the bold happened)They've pretty much said she's useless as an operational officer, as the defence would have to be informed in any case she was involved in that she had previously been found guilty of lying under oath. So she'll presumably be given a desk job, that could be done be a "civilian" employee on half the wage, and then she'll still get her pension after 25 years or whatever it is and retire at around 50.
Sounds to me like she had plenty to go onIt took a long time to investigate because the police had nothing to go on.
Very strange decision, imagine you called the police to your home and she arrived!!
How she’s been allowed to keep her job is beyond me. I know she is young, and we all deserve a second chance, but a police officer p1ssing in a cubicle after asking if they had toilets and lying to senior officers is beyond belief.
A campaign against this decision should be raised with the local police commissioner.
She really needs to go.
Edit: I am a huge supporter of the British police officer and believe the majority do a great job. It is people like her who bring them a bad name.
I read that last night and it sounds like Webster is just as puzzled over being allowed to keep her job. Let’s hope Cleveland Police win back some dignity and do the right thing.Police 'considering legal options' after officer urinated in changing rooms
The officer was found guilty of gross misconduct but was allowed to keep her job despite urinating in a clothes shop fitting roomwww.gazettelive.co.uk
Legally there's very little that they can do, it's just posturing to distance themselves from the panels decision.I read that last night and it sounds like Webster is just as puzzled over being allowed to keep her job. Let’s hope Cleveland Police win back some dignity and do the right thing.
I mean we have a PCC who had a caution for theft but palmed it off as a learning experience that made him who he is today, yet got elected on a ticket of getting tough on crime. Couldn't make it up!I read that last night and it sounds like Webster is just as puzzled over being allowed to keep her job. Let’s hope Cleveland Police win back some dignity and do the right thing.
Then maybe we should be writing to our MPs and ask them to look into it. She needs to go.Legally there's very little that they can do, it's just posturing to distance themselves from the panels decision.
I get what you're saying but there's process that I think should be respected here, with an outcome decided by legally qualified decision makers, based on the evidence presented. Then maybe we should be writing to our MPs and ask them to look into it. She needs to go.
