Larsen interview after 6.1 defeat today.

The whole interview is disrespectful to his team mates and fans. The questions should be shut down. They have just been battered 6-1 by Ajax last thing they want to hear is their star striker stating how desperate he is to leave and his team mates aren’t giving 100 percent
Not for me. Managers have a go at team effort regularly, he's doing no different.

Brian Clough did the same while he was at the Boro.

To be fair to Larsen, I didn't take that as him dissing his team mates. I think he was including himself in the description of the performance, suggesting they were all at 80% when they needed to be at 100%

I mean the fact he is saying that whilst also showing how desperate he is too leave. It’s not a good look.

Well you must interpret things differently to me. Openly asking to leave and saying team mates are giving 80 percent in games is being disrpectul to team mates and supporters. Would hate it if Tav did that
Interview was fine.

He said team hadn't given 100%. Seems they hadn't if they lost 6-1.

In same interview he talked of wanting to leave.

No need to conflate the two separate things.

You would have to assume the club have disrespected him by breaking some sort of gentleman’s agreement regarding offers over a certain amount, for him to come out against some so openly
That’s 100 percent the case and I understand him being frustrated and wanting a move that’s football, it happens, his fellow team mates and fans don’t deserve it though

So us Boro fans and the other player didn't deserve Tav making it clear he wanted to leave?

Did he make it clear? Was he doing interview after interview? He just expressed his desire to leave when he heard of interest and it was all down respectfully

You're not making any sense.

Larsen's club are at fault here. The only difference in his situation and Tav's was that we didn't try and force a player to stay who wants to leave.

Did I say that? Do you like assuming things?
We've had lots of players who have outgrown the club and moved on. He's just been open about it.

There were comments on here about Tav and Fry wanting out a year ago, and that they promised the club another year. The club kept its word and Tav has gone, I suspect a decent offer hadn't come in for Fry. Window isn't shut yet though.
