Pie and pint at Hammers ground.

You can shove yer pie and pint up yer A**e

I’d sooner poke a bear in the woods with a sharp stick and ask him where he does his business than have a pie and pint at those prices

£7.60 going rate for London town. I remember getting a round in at the Barrowman and Banker, near London bridge. Never again. Thouhgt they were taking the pish.

£5.60 at the B & B for the Milwall game.

If a pint is £7.60 our older fans who get a free pint are getting into Boro league games for about £7!

Is that with an extra pound for the cup? If so it seems reasonable, I certainly pay a lot more for a pie at events in London

Think it demonstrates how we are losing track of reality, especially as being "in London"makes it ok.
Old Trafford it's £3 a pint £4 a pie.
It's profiteering to the extreme, don't forget it's actually a take away you're having not in a swanky pub.

I've not been to the Isaac Wilson since it was a spoons, whats it like? Do they do nice beer, and keep it well? Any local stuff?
Is it a spoons, not sure, thought it was another chain, Tees Inns perhaps. Because of the location it's normally quiet. but can get busy on a match day now the Nops has shut. Clean and tidy and good selection of ales across the board. I'm not one for all the IPA ***** etc so it does me OK. And obviously you cannot fault the prices and the foods decent enough.

Just been to a local shop in Middleton St George. One bottle of alcoholic ginger ale and 2xfour packs of Amstel. He charged me £1.89!
As I am honest Harry I pointed out his mistake and paid the other £10 that I owed. Now I can have a good sup and sleep easy.
