Do you think Dael Fry is off

As far as I know he’s not injured and yet hasn’t kicked a ball in anger. Maybe we’ve done a deal where we agree not to play him, until it’s all gone through. Then again I might be talking bobbins.

I think your thoughts are much like mine. We know that Fry was (near) the top of the EPL wanted list back in the January transfer window so it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s off also. The only thing that makes me feel he isn’t is that there’s no paper talk about him moving on.

I think the club is definitely making out that he’s injured is up for discussion— maybe he won’t play against Barnsley but even if he does then who knows. Mind you I think if he doesn’t play v Sheff U, I’m sure he’s good as gone. Maybe I’m just being cynical lol 😆

I’ve got a feeling he‘s going to leave. Not sure if there’s anything agreed or in place but it’s strange that he’s not played in the first two games. Guess we’ll see if he plays on Wednesday, but I can see us cashing in on him if we get a decent offer.

If he wants to go and play prem football which is not guaranteed with Boro who can blame him.Aslong as we get a decent replacement in before he left and we get a good deal for him .Come deadline day if we get decent forward players and a couple of midfielders and a left sided defender ,replace any further outgoings it be ok.

If he doesn't start against Barnsley, when we should rotate players ahead of the bigger game against Blades on Saturday, then I think he will be sold.

Depending on what Lenihan was sent off for, he could be suspended for Sheffield United and Stoke, Fry will be playing.

If it was a last man challenge, he'll just miss the Barnsley match, if it was deemed serious foul play, he has a 3 match ban.

I was going to ask if anyone knew how long his ban was. Hopefully its just one, but wouldn't it be just league game(s) rather than EFL Cup?

Are there any rumours whatsoever he's being sold? Any clubs interested so far this window? Or are people putting 2+2 together and getting 6?

Of course it's possible bids could be in and no-one has found it, but in this day and age it's highly unlikely. Particularly when it's regarding what would be a fairly big transfer involving an English player.

Lenihan’s looked a straight red for a foul as the last defender, so should only be one game. I am starting to think there’s more to Fry being injured than meets the eye, so maybe we are going to let him go if we get the famous left sided centre half in. At the moment the most vital incoming is Tav’s replacement, but no one linked so far I see? As I have said on another thread, the fact we don’t have a replacement lined up is pretty poor, as it isn’t Riley!

I hope it is only one game, but I think that would have been a red wherever it was on the pitch, last man or not, he connected with his chest with a high boot.
I think it'll be serious foul play, personally.

If he plays against Sheffield Utd I hope he performs a lot better than last time we played them, because he was bullied.
