Away kit

Just been in the club shop to enquire about the away kit. We've been trying to order a kits one for the lads birthday next month but all sizes online are showing as sold out.

I asked perfectly reasonable questions such as:

Do you know when more sizes will be available online?
Do you know if we were to order one online how long we should expect to wait to receive it?
Do you know when they will be onsale in the shop?
Do you know what kind of stock levels you are expecting in the shop?

All of which received the age old response of "We don't know, they don't tell us anything". It's almost like they don't want the business.

On another note, there is definitely a 3rd statue going up, as contractors were installed the fancy new finish that's on the Mannion and Hardwick statues when I walked past. They were fitting a piece with the England badge on that is on the other two. No idea who it could be of however.

I'm often fairly critical of the club shop but in this instance it's not really their fault. Most clubs are having supply chain issues with their shirts.

Of course better communication explaining all this would probably be helpful, but this is MFC we're talking about. Good comms isn't really their thing.

I am in no way blaming the shop or their staff, its more aimed at club who, as you say, are woeful communicators

definitely should be, his record is impecable.

International career

Camsell also won nine caps for England, scoring 18 goals. This is the highest goals-to-games ratio of anyone who has played more than a single international. His goals included a hat-trick in a 6–0 win against Wales on 20 November 1929 in the 1930 British Home Championship and four goals in a match against Belgium on 11 May 1929. He scored in every match he played for England; his nine consecutive scoring appearances are second only to Steve Bloomer.

Coaching career

During the Second World War, Camsell worked in local factories. After the war, he worked for Middlesbrough's backroom staff, firstly as a scout, where he discovered a young Brian Clough. He then became a coach and eventually the club's assistant secretary.

Death and legacy

Camsell retired in 1963 and died in 1966, aged 63, shortly before that year's World Cup. A suite at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium is named after him and in 2015, calls began for a statue of Camsell to be placed outside the stadium, joining those of George Hardwick and Wilf Mannion. A club spokesman said that such an honour could not be ruled out, adding: "As a club we honour and respect our former heroes and George Camsell is certainly one of those."

It's Gestede. The irony being that it will probably show more movement than he did during his entire time here.

Heard a rumour concerning Sheffield utd kits.

It's not like it's the first time this has happened, it happens, every year (or if not virtually every year). I remember it being particularly bad the last time we were with Errea too.

May as well ask if they’ve got a packet of sliced hippopotamus as ask if they’ve got any Boro replica shirts available 😵‍💫
