Only on his current contract, not his next one.Ainsley Maitland-Niles is on 52k / week.
In fairness, its not clear whether:That is a concern that we seem to going down a well trodden route where the accountant and owner are over dominating the transfer dealings.
I can see a question coming on for Neil Warnock's evening ref the organisation and power base in transfers at MFC.
5. We can't afford to buy the players targeted by the manager. In fairness, its not clear whether:
1. Somebody at the Club is actually dithering, or incompetent and who that actually is (Scott/Bausor/Gibson???)
2.Whether there is friction over proposed targets and their valuation between Scott/Wilder/Gibson.
3.Whether we really are waiting for more senior clubs to finalise their squads before allowing chains to progress.
4.Whether some players are keeping their options open and we are not their first choice of move.
I choose to think it is a combination of 3 and 4, but time is squeezing and arses will twitch.

Everybody is holding out for a better deal because there is plenty of time left until the window closes. There is no urgency to complete a deal. Selling clubs are waiting to see if anyone will give them a higher price, buying clubs are trying to get the lowest price they can and agents and players are waiting to see if anyone else comes in with a better offer. Nothing much will happen until the last few days when it will suddenly go crazy as everyone accepts that if they want to do a deal it'll have to be now or it isn't going to happen in time.5. So where do you play fry now lenihan has effectively took his position ?Paddy left centre back for me - Fry isn’t happy on that side
September 1st 22:59pmI went for zero. Not sure we'll do any business before the last few days of the window now.
True, but we do have McNair and Forss to come in (and Fry, and Smith) We've just got to hope that Forss is the one who can start putting them away.Even if we bring someone in this week, they won’t be up to speed and won’t start on Saturday so that’s another game wasted.
There is a difference between being happy about something and understanding why something is happening.I don't understand the 'the window is open for another month, relax' view.
That's true, but we've got a LOT of games to play between now and then. We've already dropped 2 points due to not having someone in the team capable of putting the ball in the back of the net.
How many more dropped points will we suffer between now and the window closing if we don't bring in players.
The bench is frightfully thin, especially when you look at who WBA were bringing on.. and I believe there's 3-4 players to come into that starting 11.
We missed out by a whisker last year. Small margins. Dropped points are crucial.
