Conte comments on Spence

Conte has said that he never had any interest in signing Spence and it was a club decision. Interesting..

I can't imagine Conte being the type of manager to change his lineup to include a player the club have signed over his head, especially when he has spent all summer playing Lucas Moura as a right wing back and he has openly stated that he sees him in that position moving forward.
 
Do you have a link to this quote? Seems really weird for a manager to say that about a new signing

Could that be why Daniel Levy took over the transfer?
 
It definitely seems very odd. I'm sure it's a 'nice' thing for our Djed to here just after he signs 😂

I guess it's happens all the time. It still never overly sits right with me that clubs sign players that the manager clearly doesn't fancy (Payero).

He'll bring excitement, skill and speed to that bench warming position. Shame we won't be getting any of the add-on money.

Yeah, the lad is 21 clearly a talented boy. If he's been divvy at boro.. who cares? £12.5m I'm more than happy we have Isaiah Jones.. so not only have we not missed out we've got £12.5m for a player that cost nothing and a replacement just as good for nothing again. Best of luck to the lad at Spurs (not a team that I particularly like but still) I genuinely wish him the very best, it didn't work out for him here.. but that meant it turned out well for us, forest, spurs, warnock, wilder, cooper, jones.

So he didn't wish boro good luck.. no matter. I can still wish him good luck. Because i'm a classy boro fan innit
