If he's from Sweden he'll think Teesside is quite warm.

Closer to Sweden than Coventry too.

I think hes a good player but I'm not sure he's as good as people are making him out to be. Last season was his best season by a long way and I think he was fortunate with a lot of his goals. The ones against blackpool, us, fulham (h & a), bristol city (h & a) all carried a lot of luck. Maybe I'm being hard on the lad but I dont see him as a £12m plus player.

Mfc ...all I know is when I watched the championship highlights he had me saying great goal several times....that.will do me like considering the striking graveyard we have become

Yes mate. In all fairness he scored some great goals too. I guess Im just a bit reluctant to see us spend big money on a player having seen what happened with Britt and Fletcher.

I get where your coming from, hes a good player but i dont think he will repeat this seasons goal scoring, i was reading some coventry opinions and they all love him but dont expect the same goals output next season from him. That said id still expect 10-12 which is a big improvement on what we have

I do think strikers need some luck, and if Watmore scored those exact same goals we'd be praising him as the best striker we've had in years...

However, I do partly agree.... If he is being valued at £12m+, it'd be too risky for me.

That is true. You do have to ride your luck and he is better than what we have by some distance. I guess I am being a bit over cautious
 
Dwight Gale is still mopesing about in the under-23`s up the road.
Perhaps if he accepted hes not worth what hes being paid - and struck a decent deal with us - he might find he can be part of the team?
