EFL Matchday Live

I think they were late announcing it last year. I'm thinking of buying on a match-by-match basis this year despite it being more of a faff. If we're as successful as I hope then we're going to lose a lot of matches as they'll be on Sky. I mean to keep a count of how many matches we actually get to watch each year but always forget. I'll see if and how much the price rises before deciding.

Sky coverage just means moving to a dark country for the day. I enjoyed a day in Cyprus last season with the occasional foray to South Korea.

I've not found a free one that works and if you can point me to ne that's £3 a month I'll try it. I'm living on a state pension with little to spare.
ok fair enough sorry for my pomposity. I use Nord VPN it was 76 quid for 2 years. Sorry I cant point you to a good free one but sure theres peeps on here who could.

Just also to say Im not ripping the club off I pay full price for the RL season ticket. So I feel justified to watch what I paid for.
And who gives a to$$ about sky

Hello Pierre, I'm not sure how you access the Internet and Boro games. But if you are using say a laptop computer and Google Chrome as your Web browser there are a number of good completely free VPN extensions that are fit for purpose. They are very simple to install and use.

If you would like to know more just let me know and I'll boot up my laptop to check the names (y)

Cheers weemoby. I use Firefox (but also have Chrome) on a MacMini (2012) OSX 10.9.5 - so now getting compatibility issues - which could be the reason I struggled in the past with free VPNs. I'm not too fussed and usually find some sort of dodgy stream when games are on Sky, but I've noticed over the last year how it's getting harder and harder to do so. I'll certainly try a free VPN again as it's a year or two since I last tried. I'll end up having to get another computer eventually, but this one shows no signs of quitting on me.

Now then Pierre

A free VPN will (should) get you the Boro games from Riverside Live if you access it via one of the dark markets - as above, Thailand, Malaysia etc (Laos being my go to option)

What it, or any of the cheap options, won't get you is iPlayer - BBC are red hot at recognising VPN access and blocking it. From my experience ExpressVPN is the only one that reliably works, but that's $99 for a year

Educate me guys.. ....

I download and save a VPN, then choose it over and above my usual wifi ?

Then that would mean I should be able to watch Riverside live at 3pm on Saturday for Boro match, even in the UK ?

Thanks 👍

Nord works a treat for iPlayer - watched Glastonbury all w/e nor problems at all
