Scott Twine

Usual caveats about L1 defending / 'keepers and 'I'd score most of those' type comments....
Love how he'll have a shot from anywhere within 25 yards. Also plays with his head up immediately looking for the through ball, would be ideal as a second striker. Reminds me of James Maddison, would be an excellent signing if we are truly in for him. Far too good for what was a relegation threatened Hull

I can see the attraction with his stats and I have only seen him play on the telly once but I would wonder how he would fit in. Most of his better stuff was outside the box in the game I saw yet I would not say he was a midfielder as such. The way we build up surely we need someone decent in the box with strength to hold off etc. I think we are going to go all in for Gyorkores and Armstrong with another younger loan in up top Parrott / Archer?

I'd buy him just for him being a 'setplay specialist'. We really need one. Just delivering a decent corner would be a start (sorry Tav).

Jokes aside 3mil isn't a massive gamble. He's got more 'stats' and reviews than Johnson who we nearly paid as much for. A genuine 'play maker' with an eye for goal.

I remember years ago mentioning Bradley Dack when he was at Gillingham. Only Blackburn went for him after being a standout league 1 player for a couple of seasons.

Gyorkores, Armstrong and Archer would be great. Isn't Scott Twine an attacking midfielder? If Tav doesn't sign an extension and Payero heads off back home.. surely he would be worth a punt? Plus he can player striker too!

Watched him a few times last season as I have a mate who is a Dons fan, at £3m he is absolutely worth a gamble. He just looked a class above everyone else on the pitch whenever I watched him, my mate reckons he was better for them than Alli was.
At 22 he’s still got time to learn and get better. From what I’ve seen of him he has got a Grant Leadboots look about him.

It's a shame for the lad if he ends up at Hull😂.

Jokes aside its still a big step up in wages and moves up a league. Its an opportunity to put himself in the window at a higher level. I guess maybe a 'dream move' could be the next one.

You can only sign for a team that wants you. I maybe biased but Boro and Wilder would be a bigger draw if we came knocking. We have a manager many would want to play for.

I'd see him as a deep lying forward/playmaker off an Armstrong, Riis or Gyokeres. He can drop deep into midfield if needed or push up onto the main striker, could also do a job at centre mid in attacking line up.

I think he'd be very effective, he seems to have a good eye for a through ball which we lacked a lot last season. Although the strikers were poor, there seemed to be about ten times a game a striker showed for the ball and started their run but no through ball came and we started our build-up again. I feel he would be especially good with Jones and a left footed Jones (Toffolo or Giles?) as wingbacks pushing on, for him to pick out allowing us to get in behind like we did with Jones in our most productive spell last season.
