And Alcorcon are bottom of the league, relegated weeks ago, and worst team in the division by far - christ, even we beat them !Yippppeeeeeeeeerr!
Sorry for the late reply. The missus won the ladies category of a golf comp today.
We were asleep on the sofa when Alcorcon scored against Eibar in injury time. To put us through as champions.
I saw this on Youtube yesterday. And Alcorcon are bottom of the league, relegated weeks ago, and worst team in the division by far - christ, even we beat them !
Congrats @spanishman
Bottom of the league and they held us to a draw at home in their penultimate match. Then beat Eibar in their final one.And Alcorcon are bottom of the league, relegated weeks ago, and worst team in the division by far - christ, even we beat them !

Spain Revealed - Malaga tapas
What do you think? Do you agree with the choices? I'll be in Málaga for a couple of nights at the end of July so was thinking of giving a couple a try - not the posh ones!
Congrats to Almeria BTW

Just a thought.....Our faves are ....
http://www.latabernadelpintxo-malaga.com/ - just off Calle Larios - great cold selection on display and then the waiters wander round all the time with the hot tapas
http://cervecerialosgatos.com/malaga/ - old, traditional tapas bar, with brilliant decor inside
and
Taberna la Malaguena (no website) - on the square opposite the Cathedral so can get busy
I suppose you've got to try El Pimpi because it's a Malaga institution (and now part owned by Malaga born and bred Antonio Banderas) but by god it's a tourist trap and the waiters are obnoxiously snobby (if you do go, their Mojitos are magnificent though )
When are you down Jaen ?
I'll be there 31st July until 2nd August. Thanks for the suggestions! Our faves are ....

Wasn't particularly impressed with El Pimpi when we went there. Was pre-lockdown though so may have changed. Our faves are ....

That sounds good to me!Just a thought.....
I guess we will perhaps have to arrange that FMTTM meet up in Málaga. To watch a match some time next season. Then perhaps do a bit of a tapas tour?
My wife and I could book an overnight stay in a hotel in the centre of town.
We would have to look at the fixture lists for Almería and Málaga once they come out. So it does not clash with a home match for us.
UPDATED: perhaps the Granada home match if possible?
Unlikely it's changed - El Pimpi is El Pimpi and it's been there for decades, but as I said, it's a Malaga institutionWasn't particularly impressed with El Pimpi when we went there. Was pre-lockdown though so may have changed.
