Champions League Final Matchday Thread

Usual high-drama from VAR when the official got it right and we could have just carried on playing.

But that's just how Real Madrid are right now, rarely impressing but taking the few chances they have.

Rightly called out for offside, so I suppose you could say they didn't take it.

I've seen it all now. You can be offside if the defender plays the ball to the attacker. VAR can fcuk right off. After waiting half an hour for it as well. Bag of sh!te.

So if Robertson was ahead of Benzima, does that not make Benzima onside?
Benzema was behind the goalkeeper.

I think they're saying the Real player was playing a pass and it deflected off two Liverpool players, so not a deliberate touch which went on to Benzema. Very difficult to work out though, would have been contraversial either way.

Liverpool are by far the better side. But all to play for

Glad it's not City/Pool, that'd be disappointing but Liverpool are so much better than Madrid, which is annoying

I don’t get that rule. 4 Liverpool players touch it between Benzema touching it and Benzema putting it in the net but he’s deemed offside?

Last two touches were Liverpool players.

And Benzima wasn't even ahead of the last outfield player but because he was ahead of the GK he is offside. Who makes up these rules.

Ok disallowed because it wasn't a deliberate pass to benzema from a Liverpool player. Why would it ever be a deliberate pass to an opposition player the rule or interpretation is absolute tosh.
