Club Statement on Pitch Invaders

Not the defeat by Hull and Huddersfield then? The misses from 3 yards out, our goalie forgetting he was a Goalie, FFS give the kid a break.
Of course things across the season contribute, but those things are down to the team and club itself, not so called Boro supporters.

As for giving the kid a break, the club has or has that passed you by, he isn’t banned as far as I can see. I think he should be though, at least till he is old enough to act responsibly. Wilder and the club have every right to be furious. Anyone defending the kid’s incursion, a criminal act, is an idiot.

Yes, the Boro have not been good enough, majority of Boro fans will be gutted to lose out on the play offs because of a needless goal scored by Stoke, caused by a ”fan”

I just cant get my head around how any rational father/responsible guardian would encourage a child to run onto the pitch so that he can record it.
Surely this isnt a fan, more just some attention seeking n0bhead who cares more about what he posts on facebook than the boro. Is this just indicative of the selfishness and self-importance a lot of people seem to have nowadays?
I genuinely cant see how this makes sense to anybody.

I lot of us vividly remember being penned in like animals at all football grounds and the reasons why this was done away with. The fences were removed for fan safety not so some chav can send his kids onto the pitch for a laugh.
Banned for life is totally appropriate

The second one was shorter than the advertising boards.
I don’t get it. Mid match when we haven’t done anything yet.
If we’d been promoted then loads would be on at the whistle. Fair enough. But I don’t see why they done it yesterday

Yes and finally the stupid kid who ran on, might be the final nail, please don’t appear to be an apologist for this kid and his fool of a father.
I am not an apologist, but let's get it into perceptive, banning a child for life that's way over the top. His dad's a Berk, so he gets what he deserves.

I can remember going to a game that was stopped all the time for fans sat beside the pitch. At the end over 10,000,fancy banning that lot for life.

Lifetime ban is a massive punishment.
Wilder was fuming with it may have contributed to to us conceding.
