8% of men are red / green colour blind. Thats a lot of us who are just seeing 20 players with the same shirt on.
Not the first time this season. Cant we give that white away shirt a day out ?

And for those of you watching in black and white. Connolly is the one that hasn't kicked the ball.

I am not colour blind. By co incidence I was on a training thingy yesterday the three levels of warning were written in yes red amber green on the hand held terminal. Simple written instructions.

I even asked was it a safe way.

Saying that I could not see anything when it went into the shade.

Same here. I don't like our green shirt for this reason, it is often used against red. I could tell in the closer shots but when the camera was wide angle, especially in the shaded portion I had no idea what was going on. A bit like most of our forwards, apparently.

Most of the game played in the strip of shadow on the far side , couldn't make out any coloured shirt .

Get a letter to the FA.. those with Sky should ask for their money back!!

Out of curiosity to my colour blind brothers.. which one of our kits is the best one?

It seems like I didn't miss much on my walk, all the same a good point.
Would it be possible for one of our computer savvy friends on here to start some sort of petition to let the club and the powers that be, know of our struggles to identify one kit from another. Today was just impossible

I've emailed and spoken to both the EFL and Premier League about this numerous times. The EFL currently rely on the referee to make the distinction, but as I pointed out to them, unless he is colour blind then he's not going to see the issue. The Premier League have a computer program that looks at colour clashes but doesn't take into account colour blindness. They're now looking to change it. That was 3 years ago, and then 2 years ago, and then last year as well. They've even released a colour blindness in football document but not acted upon it.

It just literally needs a directive, if your home kit is dark, wear a light away kit and vice versa

It's so frustrating that this still goes on in 2022. Colourblindess is a disability in my opnion, but it is not treated as such. Workplaces rarely adapt, and many career choices are barred because of it. Train driver, pilot, police, fire brigade, etc are all out of bounds.

One piece of restbite is watching the footy, yet there are occasions - like yesterday - where a decent chuck of the population are forgotten about. Would it be that difficult to wear a white third strip? We've done it previously, why not always have it as an option?

You would think that the boffins down at Sky Towers would know that the colour combination would not work on TV and advise them - it's really not that difficult.
