Gutted to hear of the tragic death of Donald "Tabby" Shaw today. Right Time was the first reggae album I ever bought in 1977.
Would recommend this album to anybody
I'm digging it out to play now - very sad news indeed.

I was lucky really my mate (Geoff Martin) was a massive reggae fan and spent all his money on Jamaican imports. I had a good teacher.I'm digging it out to play now - very sad news indeed.
It was a bit later than 77 when I bought my copy but it's an absolute classic.
Never knew Geoff but I know a mutual friend (JM) & he knows his reggae onions.I was lucky really my mate (Geoff Martin) was a massive reggae fan and spent all his money on Jamaican imports. I had a good teacher.
I was there.......so I am told...........I recollect nothing of it unfortunately..............I do have vague memories of seeing The Fall in there though.Misty In Roots at The Madison is still one the top five gigs of my life.
I recently sold my copy. I think I bought it after hearing 'Have Mercy' in the Rock Garden.
