La Liga restart - 8 June

Never mind the Seville Derby or La Liga, let's get the Malaga /Almeria match on in the Segunda (y);)

You were due to come here tomorrow. According to what is on the UD Almería site. I guess that will happen in June or July now?

So if people want to arrange a trip to Málaga to coincide with the match it will have to be next season. Then only if we are still both in the same division. There is even a possibility that we will be promoted and you will be relegated. Looking at the table: https://www.soccerstats.com/latest.asp?league=spain2

We were in the middle of an awful run when the footy stopped. Hopefully we will start winning again. Otherwise it might be goodbye to Guti. Maybe even hello to Karanka (if we can afford him).

Yes, supposed to be last match of the regular season I think wasn't it ?

Dream on ;)

Having spent most of the season in the bottom 4, we were actually on a decent run, and making a charge for the play offs (well, a lurch rather than charge maybe) - only 8 points to make up I think. But now we've got rid of our Arab (for the moment) I'm certain that psychologically we'll be well up for it (y)

I did not know he was not around any more.

So are we still three to four weeks behind Spain and Italy with this pandemic or has that conveniently been swept under the Premier Leagues carpet.

As I'm 3/4 way down a decent bottle of red, I'm not capable of finding the full story on Sur - basically the small shareholders accused him of money laundering, and a Malaga Court disqualified him. He and his sons were basically charging the club multi-millions of euros per year in "consultancy" fees

This was the BBC story ....

He's fighting it, but looks like a losing cause. However, he's got more money than the City ofMalaga if he wants to string it out in the courts

Not sure about other clubs, but it will be two weeks on Monday since Malaga players went back, which I think is 1 week ahead of England ? - reports said two days of Covid-19 and general fitness tests, then training in groups of 4 which I believe is still the case. Seems like a big leap to be playing actual matches in 2 weeks, but there seems to be a general feeling here of both the League and the Players actually wanting to get back to playing - certainly none of the "politics" that seem to being played in England and no government or TV "pressure"
