I was wondering about this the other day. It's fun but a big commitment over a long time period and most people forgot to change their teams for a lot of the smaller races. Last year it was virtually forgotten about half way through the season and hardly anybody was taking part towards the end, and the points were never put up here.

I will be in thanks Abel although its a marathon comp and I am sure I will forget to enter some entries therefore prefer the GT's.

PS @pierrequiroule are you just talking about SuperClasico? Abel did a lot of work posting the results of all the grand tours and week races. Must admit superclassico is a long commitment and I recall we all missed some races as they can come thick and fast

Fair comment actually. I missed quite a few in the Clasico and guilty of also missing putting the table up at the end of the comp won by MC Cycling from PQR and 3rd being Zoophonic.

I can understand many missing this one given its length and wait for the GTs and the Spring Classics. Paris Nice also starts Sunday on the Stage Race Comp

Whilst we are on here are the winners in 2021

Superclasico - MCW
Paris Nice - BL259
Tirrenno Adriatico - MCW
Spring Classics - Zoophonic
Tour de Romandie - Just a Kiwi
Tour de Catalunya - Hairingtons
Giro de Italia - Cardiffdaffs
Dauphine - MCW
Tour de Suisse - Just a Kiwi
Tour de France - BL259
Tour of Britain - Abel Tasman
Tour of Poland - Zoophonic
Vuelta - Woodall Services
Benelux Tour - Zoophonic

3 wins - MCW and Zoophonic
2 wins - Just a Kiwi, BL259

Grand Tour Winners - Cardiffdaffs, BL259, WoodallServices

Will use just this one thread to announce further Velogames.

Yes, just the Superclassico. I wasn't meaning to diss Abel's work which is much appreciated, just drawing attention to the fact that it's hard to keep up with the sheer number of races particularly as if i remember correctly there's a month or so's break mid-season after which most people forget about it.

I'm in with my random selection of well known big budget riders and low budget unknowns. Please bump this thread as often as possible when there is a new competition coming up!

An automatic reminder from the site about upcoming deadlines would really help disorganised people like me. But really do appreciate the chap who runs the site does so with and for the love of it. Fair play.

Are we going to have a Paris Nice game this year?

The Superclassico demands too mch long term commitment.

Related subject - Do many of you use Zwift (I know it is getting to outdoor riding season) - but they have set up club functionality so was thinking of setting up a FMTTM - would anyone be interested and see if it works?

yes to Zwift, although only a couple of times a week (prefer running). Using a ‘well loved’ hybrid bike so never the fastest.

Cheers for this again Abel.
Just saw on the beeb that Sivakov has changed his nationality to French.
Moved there when he was one and grew up there. This goes back to what I was saying about banning individual Russian athletes when they aren't representing their country in a team sport. No doubt there are loads like him who are Russian by parentage and not a lot else. Hopefully those with the ability to switch nationality can do so without any abuse.

As I understand it Sivakov was still able to ride but not under the Russian flag so absolutely no question that Sivakov's motives are anything but 100% because he was going to anyway.

The other interesting cyclist in all this is Alexandr Vlasov.

Cheers Abel.

I’m in for Paris Nice. Not got the attention for a 36 race competition in Super Classico.
