Shearer - the cheeky b@****d !

HaHa!

Love that. I've got a lot of time for Shearer, especially after JFH punched that equaliser against them that time. He was given the chance to moan about it instead he said "Well, we shouldn't have been letting them have such a chance at the end of the match"

Plus even on a British level Juno won one medal just the same as Slaphead ( albeit not prem
league ) Oh and like you say his World Cup medal

To remember him playing, any younger fans would have to be born 30 years ago!
Some "old" man - prattling on - has no relevance in their football world.
He should set himself in aspic and stand outside Sid James Park.
Silly old fool!

I'm not overly fussed. We were a very different Boro then. I'm just glad I was around to those days and players in the flesh. We ain't going to have an Juninho or Boksic types again😂

Some proper names on the list. Interestingly not all them played for the now 'big 6'. I loved watching Kinkladze at City and Jay Jay Ococha.

I would say Adama Traore and Alvaro Negredo were those 'type' of players

In 1986 you would have never said we would get world class players 10 yrs later.

Things change, who knows where football will be in 10/15yrs.

For now we need to concentrate and developing young players, trying to pick up bargains and simply survive.

Our time will come again.
