Don’t watch it dubbed loses the effectOn a few days hols, original plans for today fell through so I thought I'd see what all the fuss was about. Utterly hooked!!! Just binged 5 episodes in a row. I forgot it was dubbed into English at times.
Watch it in Korean with subtitles on as without the tone in the their voices you lose the context and the humour.Yes, I’m hooked as well. Watched four episodes today. One thing though: do Koreans really say ‘gosh’, ‘my goodness’ and ‘darn’ all the time? I’m trying not to be irritated by it!
I am Zorro. It’s the subtitle translations I’m on about.Watch it in Korean with subtitles on as without the tone in the their voices you lose the context and the humour.
They say 'shibal' a lot mate. Kind of an all purpose expletive. I'm guessing that's the word that's being translated to 'gosh' or 'damn' but it's a bit ruder than those terms in Korean.Yes, I’m hooked as well. Watched four episodes today. One thing though: do Koreans really say ‘gosh’, ‘my goodness’ and ‘darn’ all the time? I’m trying not to be irritated by it!
Yes I was the sameIt’s great, I did it in three days. Couldn’t explain why but it had me hooked, think it was some kind of morbid curiosity to see what the next game would be.
Yes I noticed the CC had every noise ie door opens care revs etc so I change to regular eng.Are you using the fixed subs or the closed caption ones?
I saw something online from a native Korean speaker that the Cc's are way off and spoil the context of the dialogue.
I finished it yesterday and I have to say I loved it. It had a great blend of story, characters and a morbidly dark sense of humour.
There were enough unanswered questions for a second series, but if that is it then you can be more than happy that the story has been told.
Had to stop myself from watching the final two episodes just now as it would take me well beyond my bedtime I have a feeling I know who the main dude in the black is, but could be miles off.
It was OK, some good bits. Especially Red, Light Green Light but a bit dull mostly but not a big fan of your suggestions apart form BB & Ozark obviously. It was ok, watchable, but not Netflix's greatest.
Not up there with Breaking Bad, Saul, Ozark, Dark, First few seasons of Narcos, Kingdom, etc.
Saying that, episode 6 "Gganbu" got me emotional - that was good.
