The Spence mystery.

Nothing online to say it's happened. I can't believe they would have missed the deadline by minutes?

I guess either way Spence knows he's not wanted. Then again I suppose with many of the gaffers comments it's hardly a suprise.

I think with Spence it’s more the fact his agent is constantly trying to get moves for him. He needs to just focus on football. So don’t think it’s not about him not being wanted, more about every single window he seems to hope for a move away.
 
Anyone else think it's telling that the club hasn't done a summer transfer window round up post on social? We tend to do one when we're done with our business. Few posts on twitter suggesting there's still a couple football league loan deals to be done.
 
I would be happy if he goes and has a good season at Forest. He isn't a Starting XI player for me at the minute and we have cover.

I agree, we have better options the spence going forward and i don't rate him at all at RB so I doubt he'll get much game time which won't help his development or his price tag
 
I expect they are waiting for clarification etc....he's obviously a decent player, but not half as good as his agent thinks!

byw it’s a loan with a view to buy according to Nottinghamshire press.
 
I am fairly ambivalent about him. Yes he was excitign at times goign forward, and that is somethign we have and continue to sorely miss, but he was a liability at the back.

I have not looked at the stats (cant be bothered) but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he had contributed to more goals conceded than he assisted goals scored.

I actually rated him more at RB, think he's too hesitant on the ball on the wing.

Nevertheless Dijksteel is way ahead of him defensively so happy for him to go out on loan and gain experience.
 
The fact it looks like his main option was a loan move to Forest maybe says he isn’t as good as some of our fans think he is?
Hope the lad does well wherever he goes but apart from when he burst onto the scene, I’ve never really understood the fuss about him?
I really hope he goes on to massively prove me wrong.
