... I thought the socialists were supposed to be the intolerant ones.
Last week Starmer was demanding someones Alpaca be killed. What's that all about?
I've got a line on Stupid Bingo!... I thought the socialists were supposed to be the intolerant ones.

About as grown-up a response as expelling Ken Loach.I've got a line on Stupid Bingo!
110%.why has he been expelled. A true socialist is Ken. He has highlighted the plight of poor people more than most red politicians.
Well he supports Palestinian rights so in this Labour Party he is an anti-Semite.why has he been expelled. A true socialist is Ken. He has highlighted the plight of poor people more than most red politicians.
The Times is endless bilge dolled up in fancy font. The M&S of papers. The Scum`s empire will do a Dr Goebbels on any individual with whom it disagrees.
This time its the Times "political" [propaganda] editor.
Nice try.

Shipman only recently paid compensation to Labour aide for tweet suggesting affair with Starmer
Sunday Times political editor Tim Shipman has deleted a tweet linking world-famous film director Ken Loach to Holocaust denial. After left Labour MP Jon Trickett condemned the party’s expulsion of Loach for refusing to denounce victims of the Keir Starmer/David Evans purge of left members, Shipman responded with a comment clearly connecting Loach with denial of the murder of millions of Jews, Gypsies and others by the nazis:
Loach was smeared last year with the same libel, based on an apparently deliberate misrepresentation of a Loach comment about freedom of speech – but he had quickly put the matter firmly to bed in well-publicised letter to the Guardian:
Tim Shipman had not responded, up to the time of publication, to a request for comment on the reasons for the deletion, but his caution may have been driven by his recent experience after tweeting a comment about Labour leader Keir Starmer and his then-aide Jenny Chapman, which resulted in Shipman making a public apology and paying compensation:
Of course, it might have been better not to make the comment falsely linking Loach to the foulness of Holocaust denial in the first place, than to have cautious second thoughts after the event.
It used to be a respectable journal with columns for all shades of opinion. The Times is endless bilge dolled up in fancy font. The M&S of papers.
One word: Murdoch. It used to be a respectable journal with columns for all shades of opinion.
When abroad I always bought The [London] Times as a reasonably reliable reflection of what was happening at home.
Now its a rag I wouldnt wipe my arz on.
WTF are you on about as usual? Agreeing that an Alpaca with the very dangerous and deadly TB should be put to sleep is not the same as “demanding someone’s Alpaca be killed”!Labour's a strange party to watch these days. Hard to tell what their ambitions are or who anything they do is supposed to appeal to. A few weeks ago they were apparently out of cash and having to sack staff. Why then does it seem like finding reasons to expel members is a top priority for them? Surely they should be concentrating on fundraising and building some popular appeal?
Last week Starmer was demanding someones Alpaca be killed. What's that all about?
Reminds one of the Express too. Okay in the past it wasn't brilliant, but at least newsworthy with some respected commentators. Now it's barely even legible. The dumbification of all media. It used to be a respectable journal with columns for all shades of opinion.

He would not disown the likes of Jews Jackie Walker, Naomi Wimbourne-Idrissi and anti-racist Mark Wadsworth - who have been expelled or suspended by the Labour Party. [For "anti-semitism" - ie, supporting Palestinain rights in their own country]What reason did the party give for loaches expulsion?
Since when did "disowning" people become a criterion for party membership. Sounds like a total triviality to me.He would not disown the likes of Jews Jackie Walker, Naomi Wimbourne-Idrissi and anti-racist Mark Wadsworth - who have been expelled or suspended by the Labour Party. On Twitter, 85-year-old Loach, a winner of the Palme d’Or for I, Daniel Blake, said: “Labour HQ finally decided I’m not fit to be a member of their party, as I will not disown those already expelled. Well … I am proud to stand with the good friends and comrades victimised by the purge. There is indeed a witch-hunt … Starmer and his clique will never lead a party of the people. We are many, they are few. Solidarity.”

I read that article roofie and it's the reason loach gives. I haven't heard anything from the Labour Party though which seems odd. If it is because of who he chooses as friends and that alone, I won't vote Labour. Who he has as friends is none of the parties business. He would not disown the likes of Jews Jackie Walker, Naomi Wimbourne-Idrissi and anti-racist Mark Wadsworth - who have been expelled or suspended by the Labour Party. Its been the witch-hunt which began when Starmer became party leader.Read this far and not found out the reason he was expelled yet.
