Pretty sure downing looks after himself very well. At 33 his pace had gone and he was half the player. I'd steer clear of grosicki IMO

I have always liked Grosicki, he continually made mugs of so called better Boro players in opposition. His age needs looking at, but there are ways and means to measure his current pace levels before signing. We do desperately need pace out wide. Are Sivi and the u/23 lads ready? I doubt it. I genuinely do not see Paterson, Ameobi as wingers either despite what Wiki might say. I remember everyone calling Braithwaite a winger, he wasn’t either. Grosicki is, and is certainly better than Harris or Hoilett who we have been linked with imho, despite his age.

Been doing it for years mate , the 3 Croatians would be in front of Grosicki on my list due to value, experience, affordability and ease of signing.

I’d rather we use this season to blood the youngsters we have in attacking positions to see if they can cut the mustard playing 40 games a season. Jones, Sivi, Coulson, Coburn and some of the younger ones.
