Tattoos

Just stating the truth, I have never heard anyone say such a thing, have you? Seriously? You’ve heard someone called an idiot for NOT having a tattoo? Really?
btw you are coming over a little judgemental, but hey if that’s how you want to come across then it’s your choice.
You seem very agitated by this perhaps you’ve experienced a non positive judgement , their are two types after all , or are only positive judgements allowed in your mind.
I repeat , all people judge, if you don’t accept that then it doesn’t mean it isn’t true.
Give it a rest osboro, you have come across poorly in this thread

i am being no more judgemental than the people saying they look great. Some people like some people dont.

Think there's a difference between liking the look of them or not, which is perfectly fine, and making assumptions about people because of their tattoo choices.

Snide comments like the OP's "maybe I mix in different circles" suggesting that perhaps the people he mixes with are somehow better because they don't have any tattoos, or assuming someone must be thick or "chavvy" because they've made a choice to have a tattoo - that's judgemental.

I’m a resourcing manager

If I had two candidates, one with tattoos and one with your views

guess which one is getting the job

Massive amount if assumptions made in the last paragragh. Were did I mention intelligence ir chavvyness. No one in my current circle of friend and family has a sleeve. You made assumptions based in that simple statement. You made judgements.

It's called context, and to be honest one has to make assumptions based on your barely legible posts fully of typos and spelling mistakes.

I have tattoos and would love more once situation agrees....... each to their own.if any thread summed up the age demographic of his board its this'll
My last.. .Will only know if u know
What do you think the age demographic of the board is?

I don't have a tat nor any desire to have one. I can see that some are "well done" but some are so embarrassing they are like something a five year old would come home with from school and you would "proudly" pin it to the fridge.

A friend of mine is extensively tattoo'd and works in a job where she must wear a uniform. If any of the tattoos were visible when wearing the uniform she would likely be dismissed. So it is worth bearing at least that in mind if you are thinking of have a tat.

Not sure how I'd classify this one mind...

if you discriminate against someone because of a tattoo or because of the colour of their skin etc, then you are a very special kind of person.

Having tattoos isnt a legally protected status (nor should it be) but why jump to judge someone because of how they look?

google conscious and unconscious bias, you might be surprised, or you might not.
