What has happened to the vaccine figures, is it just the young uns not wanting it, or a shortage of vaccines as they seem to have dropped off a cliff

Tested positive today… I felt absolutely awful on Wednesday, it hurt to walk or stand up, temperature etc. I took a test and it was negative. The next day I wasn’t as bad but still had a heavy head, blocked nose.

Took a test this morning as wanted to go out to watch the match tomorrow but was worried as I still had the symptoms. Gutted. Thankfully I’ve not been anywhere since Wednesday, hoping it eases tomorrow so I can enjoy the game without wanting to sleep all day.

4 weeks since my first jab, roll on the next 7 😩

Hope you get better soon Yorkshire. YouR post has hit home, as I’ve been experiencing similar symptoms this afternoon. Been bed bound with head cold and slight shortness of breath and temp is creeping up (at 37.8 atm where I’m usually a pretty stable 36.5). Started last night with sneezing and kept waking up with sweats in the night.

To make matters worse I took an LFT yesterday Which was negative, as my parents came down south to visit, so they’ve been in and around the house.

My only hope is it’s hay fever, I get quite bad grass hay fever, the garden had become over grown and me and my dad spent most of yesterday cutting everything back (I can walk past a cricket pitch with fresh cut grass and start getting a tight chest).

Anxiety currently through the roof and typically meant to have 2nd jab next week.

Get a PCR test asap.
My son took a lateral flow and it was negative. Symptoms persisted, took a PCR a couple of days later and was positive.

I’ve got one booked for 8am tomorrow morning, and locked myself in my room. Taking no chances. We got one for our son earlier in the week and it was back within 10 hours, so hoping for a rapid turnaround.

I am genuinely concerned, based on the upward trajectory, we are going to see a rapid increase back to the worst figures for infections and hospitalisation during lockdown.
Given the ambiguous "guidance" from the fat controller tonight - like telling people they should stop at a red traffic light - but they dont have to if they dont want!
"Take personal responsibility" (?!!) - look at yesterday around Wembley and on public transport.
Dangerous.(n)

This isn't about personal responsability though it's about collective responsability and that it's the domain of government and they have abdicated that responsability to keep to a time line.

Pretty shoddy all around.

The numbers do look like the increases have slowed significantly so we may be not too far away from a reversal, hopefully.

Yeah if you look at the way the other two waves have gone, there no reason not to believe that when the case rises eventually stops, it’ll drop as quickly as it raised

What's caused it to slow down? We haven't reimposed any restrictions? Perplexed.
