GB NEWS

No, you haven't. Like you never actually do.
You have however demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of how Ofcom works and the role of the chairman.

Let’s see mate. Yes. Lived abroad for 16 years so, for some if that time I had no option but to watch Al Jazeera, fox cnn and BBC. I used to love he impartiality if our news service. But could you really say that about the BBC, c4 or sky these days?
Can you give one example of not being impartial on BBC, Sky or C4 news yesterday?

I believe I have, but enlighten me. How does Ofcom work, with it's government stooges in high office?

i will no doubt give it a watch, but wasn’t it in one of DomCum’s blog posts the UK needed a fox like channel to undermine the BBC? In the past year we’ve had a new head of the Beeb “installed” and now this launching.

I wouldn’t class myself as left wing, but one might say...

You're right, it so obviously functions as some sort of autocracy where-by the non-executive chairman of the board is the one actually making the executive decisions and him alone. Bring on Fox News UK, because that's so clearly what will happen.

It has happened (the latter) that’s exactly what we are talking about.

I guess form your sarcastic and completely lacking in information opening sentence you don’t know how ofcom works either with a Tory in charge

Again, you're spot on. The non-executive chairman is in charge, he runs the Ofcom board and runs the organisation, including all the investigations and regulatory work done and because he's a Tory, he must be tainted by his political leanings in his job and therefore GB News will unquestionably be the Fox News BoroFur is sure it will be.

Do you reckon Polly Toynbee will be a regular guest like?

Also, is it illegal to be fox news? Immoral, yes but I don't think it's illegal. Not sure what of com even have to do with GB news and it's far right agenda

Yeah ....... so ......... presumably anybody who had any doubt about the motives of GB News has now seen it for themselves and witnessed what a massive steaming, vacuous, manipulative, negative, anger brewing, transparent, divisive pile of **** it is.
If you haven’t yet cottoned on to what its all about, then I’m afraid you are very much part of its target MARKET (not audience).

Not only will I not watch it, if I find a product or service that I use is advertising on it I will stop buying/using that product and tell the vendors that I am doing so.
And how will you know if those products are being advertised if you are not watching it.

I find that statement very akin to the Mary Whitehouse stance on things she used to rebel against. Also all those who were putraged by the 'Life of Brian' film without ever having seen it..
Am I surprised by the poster - not at at all, but I do read Muttleys posts. They are entertaining
