Delta Variant

That's my thought and all because we didn't put India on the red list quick enough, pathetic!!!
Countless times where action has been too slow or not at all, which was obviously going to result in further restrictions

Basically we have no chance restrictions ending come June 21st based on that
If they don't come to an end June 21st then settle in for another 12 months of them. 👍🏻

I've already made peace with that.

It wasn't 100% with the Alpha variant and seems to be lower with the Delta variant.

In the USA over 100 million have been fully vaccinated and, although there has been a 94% reduction in hospitalisation, there have been 132 deaths.
It's a worrying development in that case, all the vaccines were heralded as being 100% effective at preventing deaths and very serious symptoms - not surprisingly the latest data hasn't been so widely publicised.

From what I've read and heard I think it's probably correct to wait a bit extra, we need to see how the hospitalisation numbers rise over the next few weeks.

I'm absolutely fuming that this incompetent clown delayed red listing India when the whole country was screaming at him to do so.

150,000 plus those to come have died of this. It's shameful.

It’s actually criminal negligence when you think about it, deliberately putting lives at risk.
