The 9am figures not disclosed yet?

That's right. I'd wait until Thursday and even then any day in isolation needs to be treated with caution. Having such absolute low numbers of deaths can always lead to large percentage swings because of some artifact of how the numbers are compiled.
I wasnt looking at single days, but your point about low numbers and taking very little to get a swing is absolutely correct.

Add the increase in deaths to the increase in infections and it is a bit concerning. I am not overly concerned at the minute but I have, as many others, started to look more closely at bear and Billy's daily figures.

It was mentioned on the BBC news at some point yesterday.
I saw that, that is good news and was put down to surge testing and vaccinating.

What has dropped off all the medias radar is the fact the we have brought all this on ourselves (again), the news is just full of smoke and mirrors (Portugal going on amber list, PM might holiday abroad and so on).

The lead coronavirus story should always start with the line;

Due to the fact India were not placed on the red list.....................................................................................

Glad to see the deaths come down a little.

Dropped by half in a week. ONS also reporting 80% of the population have antibodies.
Do ONS do full population or just O18’s?

It would be good to see bears chart on split between ages that he sometimes puts up to see where it’s spreading

The highest rate of increase is the under 30s, but it is increasing to some degree most age groups.

If we say the 45-49 are the ones in the process of getting their second jab atm (based on my 54 y/o FiL having his 2nd a couple of weeks ago), that would show 50+ 2nd jab is working well, and it having some effect on 30-49 who’ve had 1 jab / recently had 2nd, and then under 30’s with no jab yet, seeing the rise.

I also wonder how many of the people being hospitalised now would have been in the first / second wave peaks, or would they have been left to recover at home.

Bear is there anything in the figures about whether the new infections are from people previously vaccinated? I would assume not.

No. There was a bit of discussion on this above yesterday. The heat map showed primarily new infections were in the lower age groups but there were increasing numbers across all age groups, but no information on whether these older people were vaccinated. Older people can get a faster fall off in immunity after vaccination, particularly if they have other health conditions, so some may be.
