The 9am figures not disclosed yet?

The looked a various redeployment, I would assume this means the roles offered were declined by the staff, that’s how redeployment works. I’m going through consultation myself at the moment
That's not really what the article says. It refers to a lack of other roles all together. In any event it would make me uncomfortable working for an employer that changed my terms of employment and then fired me for not complying with them.

Unfortunately contracts have to be changed to apply to changes in the way lives work. They isn’t always another job locally, therefore alternative employment is sought as close as possible. As they are fixed term, they are probably exempt from redundancy

As they are at weekends, but admin staff responsible for reporting aren't.
So by that reasoning every day after a bank holiday should be zero all over the boards then?

Yes I know there will be many deaths reported tomorrow, all the more reason for the daily figures to be scrapped and just report the weekly ONS figure.

It's been a herculean effort with the vaccines. Can we expect an uptick in the amount per day anytime soon? More availability? Germany were vaccinating around a million a day for a portion of last week.

Why? Who's reporting these deaths if they are all off on bank holidays? The missus? 👀

Hospitals still run on Bank Holidays.
Fair enough, there are fewer admin and secretarial staff, so it may take a bit longer for some of the cases/deaths to be included in the figures.
