Boro in “advanced talks” with Diedhiou

I actually wanted us to sign him the first time around, but it does seem like we dodged a bullet.

There's also this guy, who I'll honestly say I'd not even heard of despite him being a mainstay in Blackburn's side.
He'd be our first Namibian player, if we did sign him.
Nyambe is a decent player still young, really athletic. I wanted us to go for him in January, but we went for Fisher, so I would be surprised if this is true.

Famara Diédhiou is 1 of the 11 players released at Bristol City. If you do sign him then you’ll not see him play in January for a month due African Nations Cup.

But I think Diédhiou will go to Fulham because Aleksandar Mitrović will leave Fulham and Maja going back to FC Girondins Bordeaux hence why I think Fulham could be the one to sign Diédhiou though.

Maybe, it's just a case of the player deciding he if wants to make the move up north I guess. Josh Maja would be a canny signing!

I'm not convinced Diedhiou is the type of forward Fulham would be intersted in - this is why Mitrovic hasnt played that much, due to their system and style.

Unless Scott Parker decides on a charge of approach of course!

Diedhiou's goals scoring record is very similar to Assombalonga. I know he is physically bigger and he can maybe help other players by saying winning aerial challenges and holding the ball up more. I too would be surprised if Fulham bought him.

I watched him a few times-- didn't really think much of him but then again it was while City were in an awful slump. However, he fits NW template-- 6'-3" and can take a knock or two-- he's been ever present in City's lineup so that's a good sign that he'll be willing to play no matter what.

Think it depends on whether Parker is still manager there come the new season - it's been a fractious relationship for quite a while now, between him and the owners.

Warnock has spoken to the player. Neil B CEO trying to do the deal. Wages demands are holding up things. I would move on from him because we are missing out on others targets.
