is amazing-Well done Ian. My wife and I are foster carers specialising in abused kids so this sort of story is not new to us. To play his football when all this was going on required courage, both mental and physical and I really hope a message is sent out that help is available in many different places. Today is not yesterday where the maxim was "children should be seen and not heard". Children are listened to and have a voice. If you suspect child abuse please get in touch with your local council who will put you through to Social services, or get in touch with the police, NSPCC or even Childline. But please don't walk by.
