West Brom winning again as currently 2 up v saints, they’ve left it late but unlike the other sides down there they have momentum.
Just 2pts now behind Fulham with a much easier run in than the rest.

so

he couldn’t

could he

No chance

They were always going to beat Southampton. They are the team everybody would want at home at the moment with their minds firmly in next weeks FAC Semi Final. Their next three fixtures are against midlands rivals and then they have Arsenal and Liverpool. It would indeed be miraculous if they could dig themselves out of that hole.

Although football often doesn't pan out as you would expect, Newcastle's next 5 games look extremely difficult on paper. They then get a potential freebie from Sheff Utd, before a final game against Fulham, but if they are not safe going into the last 2, those would be real pressure games.

It had looked like Fulham were going to get out of it but their form has suddenly tailed off again. West Brom have a hell of a lot to do and will probably have to win a game against Leicester, West Ham or Liverpool to have a chance (as well as beating Villa, Wolves and Leeds).

It's not impossible, but I think West Brom have probably left it a little to late. Probably.

Yes a few west mid derbies among them but do they not make their fixtures easier as derbies tend to take care of themselves with league position goes out the window.

I think the opposite. I would want games like Southampton where there isnt the local passion involved and bragging rights to play for.

Hope not. Got nothing against West Brom but can’t stand Allardyce.

Sadly not.

They blew it with the dropped points against Fulham and Sheffield United.

They'd need to win the next 3 on the bounce to climb out, and also hope that Newcastle don't pick up many points and that's not happening. Newcastle's final two matches couldn't be easier.

Hope it does happen though.
