Is that really a positive? We left
I can't see the current government doing that, though. The NFU have already raised alarms over the trade deals the government seem to want....I think that some real benefits can be made with farming, around moving from the current EU subsidies which benefit larger (richer) landowners more towards environmental management.
It could lead to real regeneration of the countryside, and a future more based on conservation and sustainability.
Who is "we"? If you think the UK did that alone, you're very much mistaken. We managed to set up the first mass produced vaccine and distribute it to 20 million people (and counting)
Of course, you already know that that isn't a Brexit positive and anything the UK has done regarding vaccines we could also have done as an EU member. We managed to set up the first mass produced vaccine and distribute it to 20 million people (and counting)
"we" as in the United Kingdom managed to negotiate a supply deal outside of EU Control that has meant the UK has a vastly superior vaccination programme than that compared to all other EU states.Who is "we"? If you think the UK did that alone, you're very much mistaken.
Your point being? We could have done that just as easily within the EU."we" as in the United Kingdom managed to negotiate a supply deal outside of EU Control that has meant the UK has a vastly superior vaccination programme than that compared to all other EU states.
Erm.... No we couldnt... or are we just imagining the mess and threats that have been made by the EU Commission and other EU Countries?Of course, you already know that that isn't a Brexit positive and anything the UK has done regarding vaccines we could also have done as an EU member.
no "WE" couldnt... the EU have proven that with the mess they currently haveYour point being? We could have done that just as easily within the EU.
Of course we could.Erm.... No we couldnt... or are we just imagining the mess and threats that have been made by the EU Commission and other EU Countries?
As has already been pointed out, Germany have negotiated vaccine supplies on their own. How the EU countries choose to implement the rollout has nothing to do with the EU itself.no "WE" couldnt... the EU have proven that with the mess they currently have
So the fact that the EU Commission are assuming full control of vaccine distribution in the EU or the fact the the EU Prevented EU Member countries from negotiation their own deals back in 2020 is a myth and a lie?Of course we could.
Got it in one - the EU cannot prevent member countries from negotiating their own deals - Germany did and they can only assume control of anything if all members agree to it. The UK had a long history of veto.So the fact that the EU Commission are assuming full control of vaccine distribution in the EU or the fact the the EU Prevented EU Member countries from negotiation their own deals back in 2020 is a myth and a lie?
We were subject to all EU regulations in 2020.So the fact that the EU Commission are assuming full control of vaccine distribution in the EU or the fact the the EU Prevented EU Member countries from negotiation their own deals back in 2020 is a myth and a lie?
