• 7-day average for new cases decreases by 4.4% to 4,844 per day, following 3.6% decrease yesterday (and 5th consecutive daily decrease)

Expect the double bank holiday weekend to play havoc with the recorded deaths figures. Likely to be artificially low this week and then artificially high as they catch up next week.
