Much better than last season and not worrying about relegation but I think we are well off the pace of a team with any Premiership expectations.

How long will Warnock be here - what are the medium term expectations?
 
I agree. We'll finish 8th or 9th at best.

Warnock will be here at least next season, not sure I'm bothered to be honest. All I would like is some exciting football between now and the end of the season. Today's game for example was at least entertaining (compare with the snoozefest against Norwich)
 
Agree it was a good game to watch. Thought Brentford were just that bit better than us but we were always in the game, with better finished from Saville we may have nicked something. There is no shame getting beat by Brentford who will probably be top 3. I think we will be 7th or 8th unfortunately, I thought we would be about 10th when the season kicked off. If anyone fancies us to finish in the top 6 you can get 9/2 on us to do that.
 
I agree. Think we will improve as the new players bed in, but essentially we’ve added some non-scoring forwards to a team of non-scoring forwards so we’re unlikely to rip up the league.

Well there's gratitude for you

Certainly don't think it was a snooze fest at Norwich at all, we continued to fall down at the final third

I really hope he's here next season, our best hope of having a team challenging at the right end of the league, he's been great for us so far
 
I would say teams Barnsley down to Luton are classed as mid table team, we've been in the top 6 & sat on the fringes all season & will continue till the end of the season
 
This side had been punching above its weight for most of the season. I think we’ll actually go back a bit while people bed in then we may have a later charge to try and crack at the playoffs

agree with op. A top half finish would be a good season for us.

expecting the playoffs is unrealistic and would suggest people who think so have rose tinted glasses on

Gaz that last sentence is wholly and totally your opinion and is expressed as a fact.

I could say expecting the playoffs is entirely reasonable, which, btw, I do. Time will tell which of us is correct, of course.
