Mowbray - You're a WEASEL

His leg didn't raise 6 feet high by magic, he made the conscious decision to put his foot where his head should have been. You can use whatever condescending nonsense you want to deflect, the defender made the poor and dangerous decision to put his foot that high, when people were trying to head the ball.
I said he made a poor decision, it was dangerous and his foot was high.

Anyway I just hope Dael is ok today and isn't in too much pain, I also hope this doesn't impact him too hard mentally. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him pull out of a few aerial duals when defending corners now. I'll not hold it against him, something like that stays with you.
that crossed my mind too. I remember Job used to have a massive leap on him and throw himself into lots of headed challenges....then he fractured his skull and he never really did 50-50 headed challenges after that.

I'm glad you agree that it was his decision to put his foot there. Just one person on the thread remaining who wants to absolve the player from making that poor and reckless decision.

Some people are furious with Mowbray, others aren't, thats the beauty of having the ability to see the world in different ways.

What I try to do sometimes is take off my red, rose tinted specs and view situations in football without the emotions of tribalism.

Personally, I think I am being fair with my comments and if anyone reads any of my posts, not just this thread, i doubt they would put me in the rara or rose tinted specs category of poster tbh, I know Mr Gibson wouldn’t 😂

what you think this place and evening gazette on facebook is full of bots?! mental!

I didn't say that! I said is it a true representation? Look at the background of people who post on those types of format, lots of lonely and angry people are attracted to outlets like that.

I sometimes read the Gazette comments on news stories and there's no way that is a true picture of the general population on Teesside.

Please can somebody take the headline off this thread or even re-word it . It looks so out of place and absurd . Its just not on and doesn’t look right , in fact it’s blo#dy sacrilegious

You sound a little more unreserved in your support of Mogga, like you are viewing him through those rose tinted spectacles. If one of our players did that I wouldn't defend it other than if it was accidental, but I'd still accept it was a poor decision, by them. Just as I did last year when Friend and Coulson gave penalties away last year, I didn't put it down to something out of their control, it was a poor decision from them.

no it's a pretty fair reflection, facebook is followed by all sorts of people, and same here with a range from 80 to 15 and probably more. With people that are outgoing and introvert.

Yes, the gazette comments are a fairly accurate representation of the Teesside mentality....sadly. Lots of brexiteer, xenophobic, poorly informed opinions. It's the same as you get in any boozer in Teesside. The only difference is people are a little more reserved in the real world in the spite they deliver comments.

Well good for you.

No it really isn't. You should read the research on the types of people that respond to articles on social media.

Social media attracts more of a certain demographic than others, certain subsections of the population are more likely to react angrily to events and stories than others.

If you think the majority of our fanbase is angry with Mowbray thats fine. We'll have to agree to disagree.

You need to rcognise just how high a % of the population use social media

Theres a difference between having an account and passively reading things, and having an account and reacting angrily to stories. There's a big difference.

I don't have any more time for this and its going nowhere so I'll have to call it a day anyway 👍🏻

I don’t expect Mowbray to show any loyalty to us, his priority should be his own team and any manager would be the same.

Don’t blame their player either, he wasn’t even looking and it was a complete accident, he will be disappointed to injure a fellow pro. I blame the ref for not dealing with it correctly.
