When's your first gig of the year due to be?

As it stands, The Big Moon on 3rd March in Manchester, but that's clearly not going to happen and I'm waiting the the rescheduling to be confirmed. Got a few more roll over gigs from 2020 schedule for April and May but likely they'll be gone.

I'm hopeful for Richard Hawley outdoors in Halifax in June going ahead and then see where we are from there.

Such a terrible time for young bands who need gigs and momentum to earn some money as revenue from streaming services is not worth writing the cheque for.

They have reunited for one gig after a succesful listening party with Tim from the Charlatans. It’s outdoor in Leeds with good support also. Hopefully it will still happen. They have been rehearsing like it is going to be.
Didn't the lead singer go to jail?

Not that I am aware of, I am very late to this band. I am convinced I have seen them tho. Did they ever do a middlesbrough music live in 00’s?

I'm supposed to be going to see Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever later on this year but I can't see them leaving their families in Australia for a European tour with so many countries still struggling with covid and vaccine deployment.
Especially with two of the members of the band recently becoming parents.

I'll have to make do with YouTube videos from their tour around Australia starting in the next few weeks.

🥺

Stockton calling postponed to 2022 now, hardly surprising but gutted for the team that put it together. Will be donating my ticket cost to the venues and staff.

Still waiting to see if the lindisfarne festival goes ahead, usually end of August/start of Sept. Only thing we have tickets for is a roll over from last August to this August: Classic Ibiza at Newcastle racecourse. Outdoors obvs so I live in hope

Nine below Zero at Arc in April, ain't going to happen! Lee Rocker in November, fingers crossed that will be ok. Both carried over from last year.

Already had a couple. with 4000 people at Bay of Islands Music festival two weeks ago to see Benee, The Beths and Sir Dave Dobbyn, and 14,000 people at Six60 concert at Waitangi, Bay of Islands, last Saturday (all NZ Acts).
And going to little pub gig (200 people) to see Reb Fountain (NZ act) on Friday night.
Hopefully the UK can get it's gigs back soon as there's nothing like a good concert.

Wasn't going to put anything up as didn't want to be seen as having a good time while others are clearly suffering and doing 'the hard yards' as we say over here.
Got Crowded House in Nelson early March, Bill Bailey March too and then China Crisis in Welly July. Also, postponed David Gray 20th Anniversary tour of White ladder in November.

Kia kaha, kia maia, kia manawanui all.
