Most unimpressive celebrity sighting

I went to Nobby Stiles house and was invited in on more than one occasion
Always good to out trump you Muttley

Nice to find alt least one thing in common -a true rarity
We do support the same football team (just sayin')
Kid Creole trying to blag an upgrade on BA flight from NY to Heathrow, used the “do you recognise me “ line, to which the check in lady said ”no”.
He should have showed her his coconuts...

Bruce Forsyth who my mother loved. I was with her when she collared him in a golf course car par, in the 80s. He had his trousers round his ankles as he was changing after a posh lunch in a tent on the course so no changing rooms but he was brilliant, pulling up his trousers, putting his arm round my mother and posing for photos whilst chatting to my mam.

Cor he pulled up his trousers and everything, what a gent. Some of these modern day celebrities would have just stood there talking to your Mam with their knackers still out.

The bass player from Kenickie invited me back to their tour bus for some unknown shenanigans but I wasn't up for it.

Did however get absolutely ****ered with Martin Rossiter from Gene once, lovely bloke, and had a beer and a 5 min natter with both Ken Livingstone and Phil Daniels at a Blur party.

Deeply unimpressive celebrities of Britpop edition.

Su Pollard held the door open for me in Binns Newcastle as I followed her out of the store, she is tiny.

Celeb anecdotes eh?
I once saw su pollard get in a taxi outside Peterborough railway station.

also at stations Dennis wise was waiting for the same train as me at Doncaster and I saw Paul weller and Simon callow at kings cross (not at the same time)

Steve punt and Hugh Dennis walked past me in Soho once.

David Walliams came and stood in front of me at a pet shop boys concert at the sage. Tw@t blocked my view and generally minced around making a t*t of himself.

and when I lived in linthorpe village in the mid 90s I was waiting for a bus in the avenue and Pete Beale from eastenders walked past. Think he was appearing at the little theatre that week.

Went to LA and went on one of those bus tours to see the usual sights.

Just off Sunset the guide bloke shouted that there was a celebrity to the right of us, which got all the Americans on the tour very excited and reaching for their phone cameras. 3 laps of the car park, following him as he left a shop and went to his car, with the guide bloke shouting greetings and the celebrity meekly acknowledging the coaches existence as he tried to go about his daily business.

That celebrity was Scott Disick (who both me and Mrs Jumpers had to google, and I bet every single one of you does too).

Andy Ross or Dave Balfe ?
That is a good question. His name was Michael Smith, I thought he was the A&R man at the record company. I do know he has very tight connections with the band. He is now a big wig at various music companies. Reading wikipedia I am now not sure what his role was. I haven't seen anything of the family for 30 years but used to get updates from my mum when she was alive.
Sorry if I misled you.
