Camembert, crackers and a glass of red

I had the first cheese of the season last night. Some ripe Brie and some Gorgonzola I had left in the fridge from a recipe earlier in the week. The sign Christmas is round the corner
 
Perfect for a cold autumn Sunday night

We had my sons French girlfriend round at the weekend and got her favourite (Comte) and challenged her with a British Brie - Baron Bigod. She loved it.

The other concession we make is french bread (They don’t do crackers) - I think they have that one right btw.
 
The french bread is a good shout, thought not sure I could handle it after I’ve already had a Sunday dinner. Maybe earlier in the day.
