Would you bring him straight back into the starting line up on Saturday. I not sure I would. We seemed to be more mobile and aggressive up front without him,

I’d start with the same team. Akpom is gonna be knackered at this rate though. Think Warnock put Wood on to make a point the other night. Come on Gibbo, get us a striker. Niasse on a 2 year deal whilst the price is right.

Is he injured still? Britt will probably start. NW said as much at his press conference post match. All about recycling your forwards to protect them from too many games.

NO !
I doubt we will see Assombalonga start again unless Akpom gets injured.
That team was excellent on tuesday night.
It would be madness to change it.

I think I'm happy to leave it to Warnock - he's working miracles with the squad.
I'd try and get Niasse in. The extra decent body might make the difference between winning the odd extra game to make the play offs or even better.
Contract to June 2022 on current squad average terms.

If you quote me, why not quote the lot?.
I SAID Assombalonga won’t start again UNLESS Akpom and Roberts are injured.
Would you put that lump in before either of them now !.
You didn't say that though, you said

i think you're wrong he will rotate Britt, Akpom and anyone else we have available to keep the match fit and to avoid burn out.

We’ll see !
He will be gone in January anyway so he has Only a couple of months to get back into Warnock starting eleven.
I personally wouldn’t let him anywhere near this team now if we want to win The game.
He is now alien to the Pressing game displayed last tuesday.

We all know that Assombalonga was capable of getting a goal from one of the chances that Akpom missed the other night, but we also know that Britt is just as likely to have missed those chances - remember him and some one-on-ones with the keeper that have gone astray. Keep the side that started against Bristol with Britt on the bench.

What we really need to press for a playoff play is to get a hungry striker - hungry for a chance that is. Neil W is looking and I have faith in him.

When we're at home and up against sides we're expected to beat I'd be tempted to drop one of the 3 midfielders and go with Britt and Akpom as a front two, but away from home I think we should stick with the 3 midfielders for now.

For me, Akpom must keep his place after Tuesdays' performance, but to be fair to Britt I think he could really benefit from having Roberts playing in the hole.

I’d start The same team and keep Britt at home.
If Britt is involved gge pace will drop to zero.
This is how it goes.
Break from the halfway line Britt takes possession.....Britt falls down under a weak challenge. End of move.
Does it sound familiar.

All this about tight calves and second injuries is hogwash.
Anybody who saw that match last Saturday could see he was utter rubbish. Has been for ages.

You won’t get Warnock admitting it though, cos he wants something for him in January.
He will be lucky to get a bag of carrots for that donkey.
