Decent result that

He hasn't played since he last played for us.
I’m not sure that 10 minutes would’ve killed him like? He’s been training with Man City and us all through pre-season.

Warnock gave the reason that he thought they would’ve passed it round him. Maybe we should be more concerned about what he can do when we have the ball?

A good result would have been a win I'd call this a 'par' result.

We do need to turn a few of them into wins though especially against the readings and the Bristols.. they are in the mud just the same way we are.

For me Bristol is a big game, I do think we need a win as daft as it sounds otherwise a bit of my pre season optimism will start to fade

The main issue I had with Karanka was the lack of intent, we would go 1-0 down to a mistake or some brilliance and he would stubbornly carry on playing the same way seeing out a 1-0 defeat as if it was some sort of plus point and his going on about a good goal difference. Problem is one extra point was always going to be worth a lot more than a 10 goal swing!

I've not got over Karanka when we went 1-0 down away at Burnley in the prem with 10 mins to go...... We brought on George Friend😂

I still don't understand the logic with 2 forwards on the bench. That summed up that complete none event of a season.

That's daft when you consider Saville looked tired late on in the game and was always going to be after being away on international duty. Can't believe he ended up playing the full 90 minutes.

Our target is 4th bottom or above.
Given that view this was a good point.
Lots of clubs papping themselves over finances this year and happy just to hang on in there.
We are definitely one of them.
BUT we'd have lost that match under Woodgate.
Sure we beat Reading at home last year with Woodgate

I think if we were a team that was expected to challenge the top two positions then today's would have been a disappointing result, but the plain fact is were not.

We're a team that hopes to sneak a play-off place and given that today was the first time a team has taken points off Reading this season, then it has to be looked at a decent result.
