Yannick Bolasie loan deal

Zahore was a strange one I would have thought we could pay what ever Millwall pay so I agree NW can't have fancied him or the other way round. Some players want to live in London too. NW said it was looking at 6 forwards to get 1.

Rumour is Cardiff have picked up all Wilson's wages which would have taken us out of the equation on finance grounds.

I think Blackburn have signed 9 players in the full window with 4 yesterday - they have a big squad now that is for sure or definitely going for promotion.

I know this is going to disappoint everyone that hates the club they support and look to blame them for everything, but it doesn't look like it was Bausor's fault this time.

Definitely looks like it still was the club's fault from that tweet.

Either by design or incompetence, they missed the 5pm cut off, it wasn't a secret when the documents had to be in for.
I suppose it could all be Everton's fault, but I doubt it.

I suppose it depends on how you read it! For me, 'we' means Everton & Bolasie couldn't get there side done in time.

Putting aside the the rights and wrongs of the recruitment people, I’m struggling to be too bothered about a player that has done a solid club like Everton over.

Time being the appropriate word
We had 2 month to do this deal but it fell through in the last hour

That aspect of it I do find odd, I can never understand why these things ever go to the wire unless the players in question are panic buys!

Pretty sure he was giving it the big whoop whoop after not signing for boro last time around. Him and his mate making a video saying thank fcuk he didn't have to sign for boro. My guess is that he just didn't want to come and had no intention of coming.

Twitter:
"But now my focus is back on Everton & continuing to work hard everyday like I have been & if I’m called upon I’ll be ready to do whatever is necessary" complete with a showreel of his best bits for Everton.

Fcuk Bolasie, lets go for Borini & Balotelli!

I don’t want know that the deal was not put through on time, I know that.

I want to know why ?.

And the silence from Boro suggests to me that it was their FUP.

If they could apportion blame to the player, Everton or anything else they would.

To be honest the whole thing smacked of desperation to me. Seems to me as if we ran out of ideas on who to sign. If he was an identified target and we really wanted to sign him then surely we'd have been in much sooner with a bid, rather than leaving it right until deadline day. Frustrating thouugh when we could have been in for the likes of Harry Wilson. He'd have been a much more sensible signing.

Cardiff are paying Harry Wilson’s full 60 grand a week wages.

Bettinelli better than Phillips
Hall better than Goode
Morsey better than Williams
Roberts better than Amos
Akpom better than Moore

Haha my brother was a bank manager and he had an adage that when seeing a new Business customer at their premises if they had a car with personalised number plates in the car park or bizarrely a fish tank in reception you didn’t do business with them.
Fish tanks are frivolous, expensive and pretentious, I get it.
